US Cruise Ports List: FAQ

Is Key West a cruise homeport?

No. Key West is a popular port of call, where ships stop for the day, but cruises do not regularly begin or end there.

Can I cruise from Puerto Rico?

Yes. San Juan is a homeport for Southern Caribbean sailings. Because Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, U.S. citizens fly there without a passport, though the cruise itself may still require one.

Not Sure Which Port to Use?

Tell us where you live and where you want to go; we will suggest the best departure port and price the sailings.
